Overview

The 21.2 acre athletic fields and business park will consist of a 10.7 acre public park for South El Monte residents as well as a new solar-powered business center which will create hundreds of permanent jobs and many union construction jobs that pay a livable wage.
The public park will provide two soccer fields, baseball/softball facilities, a tree lined and nature inspired walking trial, restrooms, and ample parking. The project will also contain a utility building used for maintenance and a snack shop for community events.
This development will remove blight, illegal dumping, transient activity, and vandalism. The public park will become a venue for South El Monte athletic and social events, providing a safe and a tree lined environment for the community. The business park will bring new investment activity supporting local restaurants and shops with increased customer traffic while providing new job opportunities.
